Who We Are

The Project Dengke team consists of the core team who are accompanied by a further team of like-minded volunteers. These volunteers mostly come from mainstream churches around the UK, but current and previous team members have come from all over the world.

Each team member has given up their own money and time in order to make a positive difference in the lives of others. We go to be "salt and light" to the people of Dengke and those we meet on the way; to help, support, encourage and enable those who otherwise have limited opportunities and endure extreme hardships with little hope of relief.

If you're interested in becoming one of these volunteers and joining us one year (or maybe more), then we'd love to hear from you! Find out more about joining >>

Teams of volunteers have been travelling to Dengke for over 20 years to provide aid and assistance to the locals.

Because of the extreme remoteness of the town, many wonder how Dengke became the destination for these "mercy missions."
